So, a bit about me;

I started learning the guitar at 18 having dabbled on the piano for a few years. After studying for a degree in primary education I taught a class of crazy 9 year olds for a few years. I quite liked the idea of teaching people to play the guitar full time, so I left one type of education, and started down the road of another. I quickly realised that there were very few guitar tuition books on the market with an easy to understand syllabus of learning that takes you from total beginner to confident player, so I thought I’d start writing one myself.

It may have taken 15 years to get to where we are now, but that means this whole ‘Love Guitar’ thing has had time to grow organically, having been constantly tried, tested, reviewed and refined into a method that’s easy to understand and simple to follow. Me and the Mrs moved from Surrey to Winchester 25 years ago and loved it so much we stayed. We have two girls (Jasmine and Jemimah), and enjoy mountain biking, cooking, and (pre-virus) travelling; aah those were the days…
