They are .53 (the perfect thickness for beginners and nylon strings, but great for steel strings too).
The useful embossed text makes them easy to grab hold of, and less likely to slip through your fingers.
If one does, the colour makes them much easier to find, unless you’re playing on a red carpet.
They are Jim Dunlop Nylon, pretty unbreakable and the best on the market.
